My Journey So Far

Driven to Carve

IMG_9286.jpeg

After a lifetime of artistic exploration and professional artistic development I happened across carving truly by accident. I never thought I'd find "my thing" and here it is in all its magnificence. After a 2 year apprenticeship, and with my carving mentor’s blessing, I am moving into my own business. I’ve always made recycled materials a focal point of my art. I currently use antler (wild harvested “sheds”), bone from wild havested animals, reclaimed hardwoods from antique damaged furniture; or hard wood off-cuts. I also enjoy carving natural seeds such as avocado pits and tagua nut. I hope you enjoy wearing my art as much as I enjoy making it.
